Induction cooking loaner programs usually offer a single burner portable cooktop that plugs into a normal 120 Volt outlet for you to try out induction cooking before buying. Generally lower power than ranges, but useful for getting the feel for induction cooking

Many other utilities and state and local governments beyond those listed below are now starting to offer rebates for going electric.
